I am filled with gratitude when I think of all that God has done in and through the people of Garden City this last year. I see a church maturing and deepening in Christ. I see a church that has opened its arms to each other and the community. I also see a church that has created environments of belonging where curiosity and spiritual inquiry can happen in honest dialogue. It has been joy to my soul to build this imperfect but winsome kingdom community together, always keeping Jesus at the center. I encourage you to reflect on the wonderful things God has done through you and others in our church this past year.

Common Grace
Year two of Common Grace has been filled with terrific interviews and perspectives that challenge in the best of ways. This podcast is meant to be a place where you can gain wisdom from individuals perspective, ask questions and maybe even disagree as we learn together. We covered topics from mental health, atonement theory to racial reconciliation. We are so excited to hear new voices join us this year!

Non-Profit Partnerships
Olive Crest is passionate about foster care. They are dedicated to preventing child abuse by strengthening, equipping, and restoring children and families in crisis…“One Life at a Time.” We were able to partner with them many times this year and are always impressed at how they love those in need.
Nourish is a food bank that serves our local community. They have a farm to pantry, mobile food banks, and partner with local grocery stores to get food to those who are in need. We helped run many food drives this year! Thanks for helping us in ending hunger in Pierce county!
Finding Belonging
Rather than focusing on who is in or who is out, we choose to focus on people and what they are moving toward. We focus on helping people of all cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives to feel welcome to experience community right where they are at and move forward on their spiritual journey toward Jesus. This is a place to belong.

Garden City Youth
Alisha and Allante have been working hard to create a space where GC youth are loved, seen and supported! Our youth group has grown and does monthly events!.
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

Our youth group not only had fun but also served the community at every chance they could get. Last Easter they made over 20 easter baskets for foster children.

We are reaching new people through social media every week. 90% of new visitors find us online!
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.

"After taking the Growth Track class, we joined a small group and regularly discussed sermons. It's nice to be able to watch the sermon over online. It's also lovely when we're feeling under the weather or have a schedule conflict to be still able to watch church and get that weekend boost." - Teri
